Main Meals
Our dishes are made from predominantly organic ingredients, and are GM free.

We strive to ensure every meal contains the right nutritional balance of fat, protein, complex carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.

Organic ingredients make up the overwhelming majority of our meals. We only use non organic alternatives when an organic option is not available. We are very proud of and passionate about this commitment.

We treat our mealtimes as a special occasion everyday. We provide children with the chance to interact with others and explore and develop a love of good food in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We combine textures, colours and tastes to make each meal a pleasure.

We are always open to new ideas for recipes and ingredients.

Recipes for any of our meals are available on request.

We encourage a love of food with our children through games and activities as well as during meal times. They have fun making their own dishes together, enjoying tasting sessions, flavours and textures. We encourage children to learn about nutrition and tell us about their favourite meals in topics and group discussions.

Snacks & Drinks
Mid-morning our children have a choice of organic homemade dips and spreads served on crackers, rice cakes or oatcakes along with organic cow's milk and/or filtered water. Our dips include pea & mint, mushroom & cream cheese and mackerel pate! This snack is also served with crudities or fruit.

Older children can help themselves to filtered water at any time of the day. All our children are regularly provided with the opportunity to have a drink.

Tea

Julia, our fantastic chef has many years of experience, including running a vegetarian café. She works hard to source organic produce and dishes up an outstanding and innovative variety of meals full of flavours and textures. The proof of the pudding is in the eating and the children really love her food! We feel lucky to have her and what she does is a focal part of what we offer at
