Growing Up Green Babies

Our babies are looked after by caring and dedicated staff in two bright, spacious rooms with large windows and high ceilings. The rooms are linked by a large archway and there are separate floor-boarded and carpeted areas. This means babies and aunties can spread out and use the space as one room or divide it up so that one area can be used for quiet time, sleeping or separate activities; cots are on hand for all our babies.

Attentive care and nurturing is vital at this young age of course, but babies also benefit from engagement with adults, other children and the physical environment. We have lots of toys and activities designed to stimulate babies, as well as regularly changing displays. Most of these are at floor level, ensuring our babies have plenty of opportunity to explore and develop all their senses in a safe and secure environment.

All the baby’s meals, are made from organic ingredients and cooked on site by our own cook. Our babies are changed regularly using nursery provided recylcable nappies which are professionally laundered off-site.
