The nursery is closed on all bank holidays and during the Christmas period. However, we only calculate fees for 50 weeks of the year spread across 52 weeks to take the majority of closure days into account.
- Days cannot be swapped or given in lieu.
- Set days cannot be swapped, however, if additional days are required the nursery are more than willing to accommodate you if there are vacancies.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any refunds due to a child’s absence due to holiday, sickness, periods of self-isolation or offer alternative sessions in exchange.
- If the nursery needs to close due to adverse weather conditions or exceptional circumstances unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or exchange sessions.

HOW TO PAY
We ask for fees to be paid monthly, one month in advance. To calculate your monthly payment, simply multiply your weekly hours by 50 then divide that total by 12 to arrive at your monthly fee.
Tax-free childcare is a method of paying for childcare costs such as nursery fees and provides a significant saving each month. It can be used alongside both 15 and 30 hours of funding. We accept tax-free childcare as a payment method at all our nurseries. You will first need to apply for tax-free childcare at www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare
You may pay for your childcare online (BACS), cash or vouchers. We do not currently have the facility to accept credit/debit card payments.
Our preferred method of payment is online as payments are received promptly and securely. It is essential that the correct reference is used at this enables individual payments to be identified and matched to your child’s account.
In order to secure a place at Growing Up Green you will be required to pay £100.00 deposit. You will also need to return registration and contract documents along with £20.00 registration fee. This £100 deposit is fully refundable when your child leaves the nursery.

You will be required to pay the full month’s fees following your written notice. This policy also applies if you wish to reduce your child’s hours at the nursery. Any sessions after this date will need to be requested in writing and will be charged as additional sessions.
Early Years Entitlement Funding
We recognise that the funding for childcare can be quite confusing to our families! We want to help make things as simple as possible and support our families every step of the way.
Eligibility
Working Family Funding is available from the term after your child turns 9 months old. Families can receive up to 15 hours of funded childcare for children 9 months+.
Universal Funding is available for all children from the term after your child’s 3rd birthday up to 15 hours.
Children 3 years+ old may receive up to 30 hours of funded childcare dependent on eligibility.
Please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk for more information and to understand more about the eligibility criteria.
The standard 15- or 30-hour funding is usually spread over 38 weeks of the year in term time-only settings.
We stretch our funding to apply up to 11 hours (for a child eligible for 15 hours) or 22 hours of funding (for a child eligible for 30 hours) over 51 weeks of the year.
This means the funding it is applied consistently over the course of the year, and you are not left with any unfunded weeks to pay for.
Please contact us to enquire about monthly costs for your child’s funded sessions.
